Cookie policy
This page lists the storage used by Railzeno and explains how to accept, refuse or change optional-cookie choices.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of information stored by a website in a browser. Similar browser storage can keep a technical preference on the device.
Necessary storage operates the requested website features. Optional storage, such as audience measurement, is activated only after a valid choice when consent is required.
Cookie inventory
The current website uses the following first-party cookies:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
rail_locale | Remember the selected language and avoid asking again on every visit. | Up to 12 months | Strictly necessary |
rail_cookie_consent | Remember whether optional cookies were accepted or refused. | 6 months | Strictly necessary |
railzeno_session | Maintains the secure session for the alert account. | 30 days or until sign-out or account deletion. | Strictly necessary |
These cookies do not track advertising behaviour and are not used to build a commercial profile. Blocking them may reset the language or prevent the website from remembering the cookie choice.
Optional audience measurement
The optional audience-measurement provider configured for the website is Umami.
Its optional script and storage must not be loaded before acceptance. Refusing must leave public railway search available under the same conditions.
The website does not use advertising cookies or sell cookie-derived profiles.
Accepting, refusing or changing your choice
When optional measurement is enabled, the banner presents accept and refuse actions together and records the choice for 6 months. You can revisit the choice at any time; withdrawal applies to future optional tracking.
Refusing optional cookies does not prevent access to public content and must be as easy as accepting them.

Browser controls
You can also view, block or delete site data through browser settings. The exact path depends on the browser and device.
Deleting site data removes the language and consent choices. On a later visit, the website may ask for a new choice if optional measurement is active.
Policy changes
This inventory will be updated before a cookie, SDK or similar storage is added, removed or materially changed.
